Seats and billing
What counts as a seat, how invoices work, and what happens if a payment fails.

Fallax has one plan with every feature included. You pay per seat, and the first 10 seats are always free. See fallax.io/pricing for current prices.
What is a seat?
A seat is one active person in People, someone who can receive simulations. These do not count:
excluded and archived people;
members who run Fallax, unless they are also in your People list.
When you sync your directory, the preview shows how many people will become seats before you import.
Subscribe
Go to Settings → Billing. Checkout, card details, invoices, billing address, VAT number and cancellation are all handled on Stripe. Annual billing costs less per seat than monthly.
Adding people mid-term
If your seat count grows during the term, the extra seats are billed pro rata once a month. Your seat count only goes back down at renewal.
More than 10 people without a subscription
You can try Fallax with up to 10 people for free. Once you go past 10 active people, a banner asks you to subscribe by a given date. After that date, sending pauses until you subscribe. You can still edit everything, and campaigns and the Programme resume as soon as you subscribe.
If a payment fails
You get a 14-day grace period to update your payment method. Everything keeps working.
After that, the workspace becomes read-only and sending pauses.
Paying the open invoice restores everything straight away.
Cancelling
Cancel from the Stripe billing portal. Your subscription runs until the end of the current term.
Startup programme
Young companies can get a discount for their first year. See fallax.io/startups to check if you qualify.
